Standards and Technical Exchange (STE) (Formerly known as Corrosion Technology Week) is an annual "work week" for members of AMPP standards and technical committees. The event includes a series of meetings focused on materials protection and performance, including coating applications and methods of identifying, preventing, and combating corrosion problems across all major industries. Technical information exchanges enable our technical communities to stay on the cutting edge of new and emerging technologies in the materials protection and performance industry. In addition, these meetings provide a forum for both members and nonmembers to share information and solutions to technical challenges encountered around the world.

AMPP corrosion and coatings standards respond to the standardization needs of industries, ensuring a focus on the impact of emerging technologies, new materials and capabilities, and changing regulatory requirements.

Our Standards Committees (SCs) provide industry professionals, both members and non-members alike, with a platform for sharing their subject matter expertise, expanding and enhancing their professional footprint, and making an indelible impact on technology and the industry. AMPP SCs are responsible for the generation, publishing, and maintenance of all AMPP products that require a consensus-driven process, including standards, technical reports, guides, and qualification procedures covering all aspects of surface preparation, protective coatings application, quality assurance, and corrosion prevention and control worldwide.

Registration to Standards and Technical Exchange includes access to the welcome and exhibitor receptions, morning and afternoon coffee breaks, and professional development hours.

***Registration for Virtual Only will only be available through October 21, 2022. After October 22, 2022 registration will not be available. All virtual only participants will receive information on how to participate virtual the week before the conference.

Exhibitors

Attendees of Standards and Technical Exchange want to learn about the latest products and services in corrosion prevention and mitigation and protective coating innovations. This gives exhibiting companies the opportunity to showcase how their products and services can be effective in assisting with these concerns.

Exhibit fee includes:

  • Tabletop exhibit space* (includes one 6 ft. table and two chairs)
  • 1 full conference registration
  • 1 tent card displaying your company name
  • Company name listed on floor plan located on conference website

Additional booth attendants may register for the full conference registration fee.

Exhibitor Payment & Cancellation Policy: Payment is due at the time of contract submission. If you request to be invoiced, payment is due within 30 days of invoice date. After 30 days of the invoice date, your pre-selected booth space will be forfeited without full payment. You will be required to select another booth space when payment is received. All unpaid booth spaces will remain in "reserved" status until full payment is received. Contracts received less than 30 days prior to event must be paid in full at the time of contract submission.

All requests for cancellation must be submitted in writing. All paid and guaranteed exhibitor booth registrations cancelled in writing at least 30 calendar days or more prior to the start of the event will receive a full refund, less a 10% service fee of the total exhibit space fees; including booth attendant registrations. Paid and guaranteed exhibitor booth registrations cancelled in writing 29 to 15 days prior to the start of the event will receive a refund of 50% of the total exhibit space fees; including booth attendant registrations. No refunds or credit will be issued on cancellation requests received less than 14 days before the event begins. If the conference is cancelled due to Federal, State, or local regulations, exhibitors will receive a full refund.

Standard Registration Policy: Paid registrations cancelled in writing at least 30 calendar days or more prior to the start of the event will receive a full refund, less a 10% service fee. Paid registrations cancelled in writing 29 to 7 calendar days before the starting date of the event will receive a refund of 50% of the registration fee. No refunds or credit will be issued on cancellation requests received less than 7 calendar days before the event begins. Transfer of registration is permitted one time with an accompanying fee of $100.00 USD. Transfers may not be made less than 7 calendar days before the event begins. This policy supersedes any previously published policy regarding the cancellation process for AMPP Conferences.

All requests for transfer or cancellation must be submitted in writing to customersupport@ampp.org. No refund will be processed if the registrant is a no show.

Right to Deny or Remove: We reserve the right to deny registration or admission to, or remove any party from the Conference, in our sole discretion.
