This online community is a way for students to connect globally with other AMPP student members, helping each other develop and evolve. This community is to facilitate discussions about the different corrosion programs at different academic institutions world-wide, which could help students network as well as potentially decide where they would like to continue their studies/career.

    Hi everyone!

    I'm Vivek S V from Mumbai, India. I have been a civil engineer by graduation. Finished my Bachelor's in 2012, Masters in 2019 and with a total work ex of 10 years, I got a part time sponsored PhD at IIT Mumbai 2 years back, in reinforcement corrosion - CP research. It opened my way to AMPP and I am at the final verification stage of getting my CP2 certification!

    I see corrosion as a cool area to work in, based on my experience with performing CP on concrete. The CP2 course material made me really interested in pipelines and I wish, 10 years from now, the CP community would know me for the good work I would have done by then in pipelines !!

    Great to be connected to this community, thank you all for this opportunity ��
