What is the QP Merit Program?

The QP Merit Program allows qualified contractors to be exempt from paying the audit fee every other year.

Who qualifies for the program?

Qualified contractors must have held all respective QP Accreditations for at least 3 years and not received more than 2 minor findings in the prior 3 years. To qualify for the program for the following year, you must apply annually by July 1st.

Details of the QP Merit Program

Eligible Accreditations include: QP1, QP2, QP3, QP6, QP8, QP9 & QS1 (QP5 not included).
Contractors must have completed a minimum of 3 years in ALL QP programs held to qualify.
Qualifying contractors can’t have received more than 2 “CAP” resolved minor findings for which any QP accreditation is held during the prior three (3) years to be eligible.
Approved contractors are exempt from paying the audit fee every other calendar year.
In qualified non-audit years, contractors will only be responsible for an administrative fee but are still required to submit an annual Accreditation Maintenance Renewal Application by December 15th, and submit required job notifications.
Program eligibility is evaluated annually; previously qualified contractors must reapply each year by July 1.
AMPP reserves the right to perform random, announced, or unannounced audits at AMPP’s expense and discretion during non-audit years. The Merit Program member must remain in compliance during a random audit.
