Presentation:Challenges Building & Maintaining a Successful Business in Corrosion EngineeringWe will explore key aspects of creating a strong team of engineers and technicians necessary to build and maintain a successful corrosion engineering firm. In the business climate today, it is a challenge for any company to thrive, but our field has unique dimensions. We will look at the interaction of numerous internal and external factors that drive the business, including the importance of relationships, sourcing talent and succession planning.
Bio:Christopher R. McKinley is currently the chief operating officer for Southern Cathodic Protection Company in Atlanta, Georgia. He is a licensed professional engineer and successfully completed the NACE International cathodic protection specialist course. He received both his undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering and masters degree in business from Georgia Tech in Atlanta. Chris has worked in the corrosion consulting field for over 20 years solving corrosion problems in the pipeline, concrete, water and transportation industries.
