NACE Latin America Area (LAA) Newsletter is to be published initially twice a year, in January and July. This opportunity is a one-year commitment, to organize the collection of documents and graphics from members through Section Officers and from any working Committee; encourages members to write and share ideas and experiences and keep contributors aware of deadlines to get the newsletter out on time. Needs to establish a timeline for each newsletter (2) and keep contributors informed.
Support System: Articles are written by volunteers and submitted to Section Officers for review. The Section Officers also provide support in generating ideas, exchange technical data as necessary and submitting content for publishing. Editor works with the Officers in finalizing and approving final content.
Qualifications: Experience in the area of corrosion prevention and control. Strong writing skills and attention to details. Strong networking ability and easy to relate to and associate with. Ability for planning, to meet deadlines and to work independently. Able to communicate/read in Spanish and English.
