The NACE Institute is seeking experience coating applicators to serve as content contributors for an item writing workshop. This activity is a step in the exam development process and ensures the test is a reflection of the information provided in the Job Task Analysis (JTA) and ANSI/NACE No. 13/SSPC-ACS-1. The JTA workshop had been held and was the first and most important step in the exam development process as it determines the major tasks, skills, and knowledge needed for those seeking a certification. The results of the JTA are used to establish and prioritize the content of the exam.
In this workshop, you will be trained on the rules of writing appropriate content that fits with the domains set by the JTA and develop new questions for the exam. We are looking to get volunteers with coating applicator experience from all over the world to make sure we cover various regions, practice settings, experience levels, and other demographic characteristics of those working in the field.
Requirements:
English Speaking
At least 5 years in the coating industry
Uninterrupted participation for four (4) full days of meetings.
