Houston, Texas – (April 9, 2026) — The Association for Materials Protection and Performance (AMPP) has introduced a new Certification Recognition Program, featuring digital badges that recognize professionals who have maintained AMPP certifications in good standing over extended periods of time.
The program acknowledges certification holders who have demonstrated sustained commitment to professional excellence, technical competence, and ethical conduct across the materials protection and performance industry.
Newly available digital badges recognize certification milestones at 10, 20, 30, and 40 years of continuous certification. Each badge reflects uninterrupted certification status and serves as a visible marker of long-term dedication to industry standards and best practices.
“Maintaining certification over a decade or more represents more than tenure. It reflects a continued commitment to learning, accountability, and professional integrity,” said Silvia Palmieri, Certification Community Development Specialist at AMPP. “These badges recognize individuals who have consistently upheld the standards that strengthen our industry and protect critical infrastructure worldwide.”
The AMPP Certification Recognition Program is designed to formally acknowledge individuals who have contributed to advancing materials protection through ongoing certification. Recognition is based on continuous certification with no lapses, reinforcing the importance of maintaining current knowledge and adherence to industry requirements.
Digital badges are available through each individual’s My Certification Portal and can be used across professional platforms to demonstrate verified achievement and long-term certification status.
In addition to recognizing individual milestones, the program reinforces AMPP’s broader commitment to workforce development, industry standards, and the long-term reliability of infrastructure systems supported by qualified professionals.
