The Marine Technical Community of Interest is a group of people (both AMPP members and nonmembers) who have come together for the purpose of furthering a common cause by sharing wisdom, knowledge, information, and/or data for studying the corrosion mechanisms, causes, effects, and corrosion control remedies for ships, structures, and equipment exposed to marine environments, and to disseminate information on the research, development, and performance of materials, coatings, and improved or innovative methods to mitigate problems related to marine corrosion.

    Hello AMPP Marine Team Members, 

    I wanted to make sure you were all aware of two events pertaining to the AMPP Marine world coming up in the next couple of weeks. 

    1. At the AMPP Annual Conference in Houston (March -15-19) we will be holding a Marine TCI Session with four speakers discussing a variety of topics. Hopefully, many of you are able to make it to the conference and attend the TCI Session. Once times and dates for the session along with speakers are finalized, I will be sure to pass that along.
    2. On February 3-4, AMPP will be hosting and Maritime Coatings Contractor Forum in Virginia Beach, VA. The purpose of this forum is to drive innovation in marine operations and materials protection.
