    Dear Colleagues,

Hope this message finds you well!

We would like to invite you to the two Information Exchange meetings organized by the Technical Community of Interest (TCI) on Oil & Gas Metallics during the upcoming AMPP Conference + Expo 2024 in New Orleans, LA.

These meetings are meant for exchanging information on new Oil & Gas material and testing developments, the status of ongoing research, the latest HSE concerns and burning issues that affect our industry. Over the years, the technical Information Exchange meetings have been providing an excellent stage for sharing knowledge and discussing experiences with experts in our industry.

As in previous years, the format will be short presentations (6 slides maximum) followed by questions and discussion, which should take approximately 15 minutes in total. There will not be formal presentations, slides will not be shared, detailed minutes will not be made. Therefore, the Oil & Gas Materials Selection & Metallurgy meetings are an ideal forum to share and learn what is new, to feel the waters for new initiatives and to bring up any safety concerns.

We invite you to provide input for the upcoming Information Exchange meetings, as follows:

Oil & Gas Materials Selection & Metallurgy - Test Methods Learnings Information Exchange (Tuesday, March 5th, 10-12 AM in room 230)

Sharing findings related to test method deficiencies and improvements for the following test methods - TM0177, TM0198, TM0284, TM0316 and new methods per TM21451 (SOHIC), TM21452 (Ripple Load Test), and TM21453 (HSC of Welds), along with introduction of novel methods.

If you would like to present, please send an email to Bill Kovacs (william.kovacs@dnv.com) and Octavio Albores (oalbores@tenaris.com).

Oil & Gas Materials Selection & Metallurgy - Information Exchange (Tuesday, March 5th, 1-3 PM in room 230)

Sharing findings related to new materials developments, field experience, general knowledge, and data evaluation on selection of metals for equipment used in Oil & Gas.

If you would like to present, please send an email to Flavia Kudla (fkudla@slb.com).

Please include your name, affiliation, the title of your presentation and a summary which will be used for planning purposes.

Hope to see many of you in New Orleans and welcome you in the Information Exchange meetings.

    Best Regards,

    Flavia Kudla.
