Hello to all my fellow corrosion prevention colleagues in the Defense community! My name is Patrick Cassidy and I have had the honor of being selected by the AMPP Technical Program Committee (TPC) as chair of the new AMPP Technical Committee (TC) for Defense. Over the next few months, I hope to turn the community into a place where like-minded colleagues can interact and share best practices, lessons learned, ask questions, lament failures, and generally stay on top of current technologies. Currently we have three Technical Communities of Interest (TCIs), Air/Space, Land, and Navy/Marine. I will be working within our community to identify new potential TCIs and also validate that the current TCIs are suitable. As a U.S. Military member, government civilian, or veteran, I would love to have your participation in this new community.
I am also looking for volunteers to serve on the overall TC 09 Defense committee, which will appoint TCI managers and provide oversight to the community, while reporting back to the main AMPP TPC.
