The Marine Technical Community of Interest is a group of people (both AMPP members and nonmembers) who have come together for the purpose of furthering a common cause by sharing wisdom, knowledge, information, and/or data for studying the corrosion mechanisms, causes, effects, and corrosion control remedies for ships, structures, and equipment exposed to marine environments, and to disseminate information on the research, development, and performance of materials, coatings, and improved or innovative methods to mitigate problems related to marine corrosion.

"Let's meet and discuss what AMPP can do for the international community to facilitate the transition to new cleaner fuels. These fuels are complex and the resistance of metals and coatings vary. Examples are ammonia, hydrogen, methanol, biofuels. All affecting metals and coatings differently. What standard and best practices can AMPP develop or help develop in cooperation with other standards organizations? What else can AMPP do?"

    Sincerely,

    Johnny
