Dear Colleagues,
During the AMPP Annual Conference next week in Denver the Oil & Gas Materials Selection & Metallurgy Information Exchange meeting (formerly TEG-374X), organized by the Technical Community of Interest (TCI) on Oil & Gas Metallics, will take place on Thursday, March 23rd, 1:00 – 3:00 PM.
This meeting is meant for exchanging information on new Oil & Gas material developments. Typically, the highlights are on what is new, the status of ongoing research, the latest HSE concerns and burning issues that affect our industry.
As in previous years, the format will be short introductions (6 slides maximum) followed by questions and discussion, which should take approximately 15 minutes in total. These will not be formal presentations, slides will not be shared, detailed minutes will not be made. Therefore, the Oil & Gas Materials Selection & Metallurgy Information Exchange meeting is an ideal forum to share and learn what is new, to feel the waters for new initiatives and to bring up any safety concerns.
We still have a couple of slots available and would like to invite you to provide input to the Information Exchange meeting by introducing a topic (informal presentation). If you'd like to do so, please send an email to Flavia Kudla (fkudla@slb.com). Include your name, affiliation, the title of your presentation and a few-lines summary that we will use for planning purposes.
Hope to see many of you in Denver and welcome you in the Information Exchange meeting.
Best Regards,
Flavia Kudla.
