The Construction Technical Community of Interest is a group of professionals (both AMPP members and nonmembers) who have come together for the purpose of furthering a common cause by sharing wisdom, knowledge, information, and/or data for the construction industry. This group will include contractors, owners, manufacturers, consultants, and others from various industries (Bridge, oil, gas, marine, rail, etc.) to discuss issues affecting this community. This will also include new and emerging technologies as well. Topics may include production, equipment, labor force, training, materials, and quality control. Through the shared knowledge of this diverse group, both geographically and from varying viewpoints, information can be discussed that will address the needs of this community and provide solutions that will enhance the performance, steam line those processes and execution during the construction phase, and possibly lower the overall costs.

    Good afternoon all!

I would like to introduce myself and let everyone know that I am now Chair of the Construction TCI. I am excited to meet with this group where we will discuss how coatings and coating activities can be implemented into pre-construction and construction phases for a more efficient and streamlined project. I look forward to growing this group to include individuals with different view points and working together to actualize meaningful changes that will benefit all parties involved in projects that include coatings.

My goal is to have everyone that is already a member of this TCI be actively engaged in furthering these conversations and extend invitations to anyone else they feel would be a good addition.  I know everyone's schedule is always jam packed, but participation in the threads, joining the meetings (to be announced), and volunteering to assist are why we have joined these communities and I will greatly appreciate if your efforts can continue during my run as Chair.

I am open to any advice/feedback/constrictive criticism that will help to further the mission of the Construction TCI.

If anyone would like to reach out to discuss anything, my contact info is listed below.
