    Dear colleagues,

During the upcoming AMPP Annual Conference + Expo 2023, the Oil & Gas Materials Selection & Metallurgy - Test Methods Learnings Information Exchange (TCI) meeting (former TEG 577X) will take place on Thursday, 23 March 2023 from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM (CST) as an in-person event. This meeting is meant for sharing findings related to test method deficiencies and improvements for the following test methods - TM0177, TM0198, TM0284, TM0316 and new methods per TM21451 (SOHIC), TM21452 (Ripple Load Test), and TM21453 (HSC of Welds), along with introduction of novel methods.

During the information exchange meeting, short introductions (4-6 slides maximum) will be followed by questions and discussion (approximately 15 minutes per each presentation, including questions and discussion). These will not be formal presentations, but note that AMPP policies on commercialism are still required to be followed by both presenters and the audience members. The AMPP rules on "no recording or photographs" will be reiterated at the meeting. No slides will be shared, nor will detailed minutes of the meeting be made/shared. Therefore, this exchange meeting is an ideal forum to learn what is new, to test the waters for new initiatives and to share safety concerns.

We invite you to provide input to the information exchange meeting by introducing a topic (informal presentation). If you would like to do so, please send an email to Bill Kovacs (william.kovacs@dnv.com) and Hisashi Amaya (amaya.mr8.hisashi@jp.nipponsteel.com). Please include your name, affiliation, the title of your presentation and a few-lines summary that we will use for planning purposes.

We are looking forward to seeing you in-person and welcoming you to the information exchange meeting.

On behalf of Test Methods Learnings Information Exchange (TCI),

    Hisashi Amaya
