Hello Everyone!
Along with Dustin Young, our AMPP Support Staff Person, and on behalf of the Research Program Committee, I would like to welcome you all to the Community of Interest for the Research Program Committee (RPC) of AMPP!
Raghu Srinivasan (U. Alaska, Anchorage) and myself (U. Dayton Research Inst.) will be serving as the Vice Chair and Chair of the RPC for the next year beginning July 1. We would like to thank Mike Hurley (Boise State U.) for having served so magnificently as Chair of the RPC during the transition from NACE International to AMPP.
For those of you who were involved with the Research Advisory Committee (RAC) under NACE International previously, you will be happy to know that the mission of the new Research Program Committee under AMPP has maintained a number of the responsibilities that the RAC had (Research In Progress and Research Topical Symposia, Student Poster Session and SEED Grant). We are also developing topical webinar and workshop series, and identifying strategic research alignment opportunities outside of AMPP with the goal of providing a resource for research academics and professionals to legacy members of NACE International and SSPC.
We hope that this COI will continue to add members and grow, providing the everyone with an opportunity to discuss, discover, participate and contribute to RIP and RTS symposia, Student Poster Sessions, and other topical program efforts currently under development.
