The Fossil, Nuclear, Hydro Power Generation Technical Community of Interest is a group of people (both AMPP members and nonmembers) who have come together for the purpose of furthering a common cause by sharing wisdom, knowledge, information, and/or data to facilitate identification and resolution of corrosion-related problems of materials in various energy generating and delivery systems: nuclear, fossil fuel, radioactive liquid storage and transfer systems, and in the utilization of geothermal resources.

    Hello everyone, 

    I am excited to announce that I accepted an AMPP nomination to chair the Technical Community of Interest (TCI) - Fossil, Nuclear, Hydro Power Generation under the Utilities Technical Committee (TC 08) . TC 08 Utilities chairperson is Dr. Paul Su of FM Global.  Here's a link to my LinkedIn profile. 


    Professional information: B.S. in Metallurgical Engineering (2001, Ohio State), M.S. in Engineering (2011, Ohio State), Metallurgy and corrosion consultant for over twenty years, now employed by Haynes International in Marketing. Haynes Marketing focuses on materials and applications.  I am an active member of AMPP, have authored >20 papers, hold a US patent, and thoroughly enjoy what I do for a living.

    Welcome to our TCI and I look forward to seeing you at the AMPP Annual Conference + Expo. Speaking of the Annual Conference, our TCI will meet on 3/23/2022 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am. Check the final program for room location.
