Lenny Moore is the US Oil & Gas Sales Manager for Global Power Technologies (formerly Gentherm Global Power). Lenny is available around the clock for his customers. He brings a wealth of sales and solutions-based selling, having worked in telecommunications 1999-2010, and oil and gas sales from 2012 to present.
US NAVY: A Navy ROTC Scholarship winner, Ensign Moore was commissioned in 1988. LT Moore served the U.S. Navy as an F-14 Tomcat aviator. He served aboard the USS RANGER and USS KITTY HAWK with 25 combat missions in Iraq and 110 carrier landings. Later, he taught Navy ROTC at UPENN, before joining the Navy Reserves, where he served various department head roles with Naval Control of Shipping, Carrier Group 7 and Combat Strike Group 5. He also served as Commanding Officer of Pacific Fleet Training before retiring as a Commander in 2009.
SALES: Lenny settled in Houston in 1997, taking a position with Houston Cellular as a Corporate Account Manager. He was recognized as the “Top Sales Rep” in the company in 1999. In 2000, he accepted a position with Sprint Business, where he remained until early retirement in 2005. Lenny worked in surgical sales for 3 years, before returning to Sprint in 2008. After breaking into oil and gas sales with Solarcraft in 2012, he was the top sales person by revenue in 2016 and 2017. Lenny joined Global Power Technologies in 2018, specializing in power solutions for instrumentation, automation, and cathodic protection for field applications, consisting of thermoelectric, NG/propane GENSETs, gas reduction and filtering, and solar hybrid systems.
EDUCATION: US history major and graduate of Cal-Berkeley, Class of 1988. In 1997, he graduated magna cum laude with an MS degree in Organizational Dynamics from the University of Pennsylvania.
Married in 1992 to the former Denise Dovell of San Francisco, CA, Lenny and Denise have a grown son and daughter. The Moore’s reside in Kingwood, TX.
