The Coating Inspectors Technical Community of Interest is a group of people (both AMPP members and nonmembers) who have come together for the purpose of furthering a common cause by sharing experience, knowledge, and information for the advancement of all inspectors. This group is expected to have a wide range of interests, including mentoring, "upskilling", soft skills, career advancement, networking, technical improvement and representing the inspection community within AMPP.

    To all members of AMPP Technical Committee - TC01. This is a reminder that the 2026 AMPP Annual Conference + Expo will be taking place in Houston, TX. As a reminder, the following TC01 Sub-committees have scheduled meeting dates, times, and locations. 

    Monday, March 16 in room 351 DE:

    🔸8-9 a.m. | Surface Preparation

    🔸9-10 a.m. | Linings, Immersion & Buried Service Coatings

    🔸10-11 a.m. | Atmospheric Coatings

     Wednesday, March 18 in room 342 C:

    🔸1-5 p.m. | Coating Inspection

    These sessions are designed to bring together industry professionals, engineers, inspectors, manufacturers, and asset owners to discuss evolving standards, field experience, and best practices in protective coatings and linings.  If you're attending AMPP 2026, we encourage you to join these TC01 sessions. They are a great opportunity to connect with industry experts, share technical insights, and participate in discussions that help shape the future of corrosion protection and protective coatings.
