    All,

I volunteered to take a look at this balloted document & see if I could update it to reflect the negative ballots.  To my understanding this went to ballot in 2017, so its been a while.

I need some input from people who have actually applied coatings to the interior of pipelines via pigs.

Some example specific questions I have are:

    • Is it common practice to do a degreasing step before acid cleaning?
    • How is the pH of the used acid measured in the field? (The document refers to titration, but that seems high level to what I expect is done in the field.)
    • "Following the phosphoric run a water solution shall be run to balance the pH to acceptable levels." What is an acceptable level?
