I'm an internal corrosion / materials specialist working for Phillips 66's pipeline division. I'm a licensed Professional Metallurgical Engineer in the State of Texas.
As an operator employee, I lead research and development programs focused on corrosion, pipeline integrity and asset integrity, provided technical support to major capital project teams, and assisted existing facilities with corrosion / degradation concerns and inspection planning. I'm known for my work on "Top of the Line corrosion" in gas pipelines and preventing corrosion during hydrotesting and/or long term wet storage. The former has given me significant knowledge of corrosion modeling for CO2 systems and chemical treatment / corrosion inhibition. The later has given me significant experience with Microbiologically Influenced Corrosion (MIC), diagnosing, monitoring and treating.
