The Cathodic Protection – Interference Technical Community of Interest will cover cathodic protection interference issues from all sources of stray current including DC and AC stray current, HVAC colocation, shared ROW interference and other general sources that may cause interference on a structure under cathodic protection.

    Good morning. I have been absent for a bit, managing a new role and the growth in responsibilities. Over the last year, I have approved at least 10 new renewable energy projects that will impact my pipeline ROW. What are some of the preset monitoring, mitigation or shielding requirements that you are deploying regardless of the cable voltages? What are some of the negative impacts you have seen on you assets which are collocated with wind and solar renewable sites?
