Happy Spring out there from the US East Coast!!
I see this is a 3 year old posting of yours, but I can send along some pictures of issues, and also present wisdom about topics. I absolutely embrace premature coating failures as I worked for the manufacturer, Chlor*Rid, and am now their Premiere stocking distributor ever since the owner passed away more than a decade ago and the firm was bought and sold a couple times. Remediation of those pesky non-visible contaminants will allow protective coatings to perform to their intended service life. I am also retrenched with my first professional love, fire resistant coatings often referred to as intumescent coatings.
So perhaps we can start a dialogue there, again if you are still viable, meaning in this position at the magazine.

Subject: Premature Coating Failure Article Authors Needed
CoatingsPro Magazine runs an article in every issue called "Never Again," which is a discussion of a project where the high-performance coatings failed prematurely. We do not share any company or product names, but we do include images of the failures. There are also key takeaways to help the contractor readers avoid these types of failures on their own project. We're looking for authors to write articles for us in this theme. Please reach out to me directly if you're interested, and I can answer any follow-up questions here or in this discussion thread. Thank you!
