Coating Inspection

Dear AMPP Research Community,

I am reaching out on behalf of the Saudi Aramco Project Inspection Department, where we are currently piloting a digital surface cleanliness measurement device developed by one of our vendor. The purpose of this initiative is to align the device's output, which quantifies surface cleanliness levels with internationally recognized visual standards such as ISO 8501-1 and SSPC/NACE VIS 1 & VIS 3.

We are seeking technical guidance and collaboration with the appropriate AMPP committee or expert working group to support the evaluation of this device. Specifically, we aim to establish objective, standardized calibration references that are aligned with AMPP standards and best practices.
