The Water Treatment Technical Community of Interest is a group of people (both AMPP members and nonmembers) who have come together for the purpose of furthering a common cause by sharing wisdom, knowledge, information, and/or data for the dissemination of information related to the production and/or use of steam, water, and waste water in all industrial systems including refining, petrochemical, electric production, manufacturing, commercial buildings, and institutional systems including fire protection systems in those facilities.

  • 1.  Water Treatment TCI Meeting AMPP 2023

    Hi All,

    On behalf of the Water Treatment Chair Ted Beardwood, 

    The TCI Water Treatment group will be meeting on Thursday, March 23, 2023 from 10 am to 11 am, room 702 in the Colorado Convention Center. The purpose of the meeting is as follows;

    -       Discuss past technical topics of interest associated with the legacy NACE water treatment committees, both the scope and past chairs. Input from the participants into the continuance of said investigation or information transfer and any additional requirements to be placed within the original scope.

    -       Meeting participants to discuss new technical topics of interest including defining their scope and potential chairs and volunteer working members.  

    -       Seek input from the meeting participants in regards to topics for papers to be presented in a Water Treatment Symposia at the 2024 AMPP annual meeting. This to be then announced in AMPP's "Call for Papers".

    I won't be able to make the water treatment discussion on Thursday, but I hope to stay involved as the group's work continues to evolve. Have a great meeting.
