AMPP Technical Program
The AMPP Technical Program offers a wide range of opportunities for both members and nonmembers to engage with the association. Through our interconnected committee structure, we bring together representatives from every segment of the materials performance and protection industry to strengthen technical understanding across diverse subject areas. Whether through our online community platform or via in‑person and virtual meetings, AMPP provides technical subject matter experts from around the world with a collaborative space to discuss current challenges, exchange insights on new and emerging technologies, and contribute to advancing the field.
Supporting this work is the Research, Innovation & Technical Advancement (RITA) Program Committee, which links AMPP to the ideas, people, and discoveries shaping the future of materials protection and performance. Through RITA’s technical and research initiatives, AMPP helps identify knowledge gaps, foster innovation, and accelerate the development of practical solutions.

Technical Communities of Interest (TCIs)
A TCI is a group of people who share a common technical interest.
As a member of a TCI you can participate in:
- Discussion at-will on the selected topic via our online community platform
- Presentations & discussions on current industry developments
- Connection via meetings hosted on a collaboration platform, via teleconferences or at conferences (either regional or global events).
- Any AMPP member or nonmember can join a TCI.
