Available Training for U.S. Defense, Transportation Departments

On Monday, Dec. 13, AMPP will be holding a workshop designed to help attendees advance their careers with the Department of Defense (DoD) and Department of Transportation (DoT). This session, presented by Paul Vinik of Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. and featuring speakers that work with the DoD and the DoT, will provide information on the resources available to advance attendees’ careers.

The speakers, who come from both the government and public/civilian sectors, will discuss their career trajectories. They will also be providing insight on which skills and training are needed to be successful in their careers. Speakers will also talk about credentialing and experience. The different training options that AMPP offers will be discussed, focusing on those most beneficial for DoD and DoT employees.

This workshop will take place from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. local time in the Phoenix Convention Center, Room 227 A-B. Fully funded training is available, with more information accessible at the workshop. Workshop attendees are encouraged to ask questions during the session and chat with their peers.
