Facility owners are invited to a complimentary lunch as a thank you for their commitment to SSPC standards and quality programs for their industrial coating projects. The event will be held on Tuesday from 11:30 a.m to 1:00 p.m. local time and feature an open forum peer technical discussion session on best practices and solutions.
Attendees can learn how the SSPC standards program has fully merged with the NACE International standards program and is now the AMPP: Association for Materials Protection and Performance standards program, an ANSI-accredited standards developer. AMPP will continue to develop standards, guides, technical reports, and qualification procedures (referred to as “standards”) collaboratively for facility owners and all other stakeholders in the coatings industry through consensus committees made up of industry professionals who combine their expertise to establish best practices.
As innovations in technology and processes drive industry, new standards will be developed and existing standards will be reviewed and may be reaffirmed, revised, stabilized, or withdrawn in accordance with committee procedures.
The lunch will be held in the Phoenix Convention Center and is sponsored by the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades.
