What’s New with the QP Program?

Looking to hear the latest updates to AMPP’s Qualification Procedures (QP) program? If so, then you’ll definitely want to attend the “What’s New with the QP Program?” workshop! This one-hour presentation will inform attendees about the status of the new QP committees, developments of a parallel path for Coating Application Specialist (CAS) certification, and general program updates and developments.

The “What’s New with the QP Program?” workshop will be an invaluable asset to facility owners and specification writers in determining whether painting contractors have the capability to perform surface prep and coating application to a variety of industrial and marine structures. Scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 14 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. local time, the workshop will meet in West 301A in the Phoenix Convention Center.

The workshop will be presented by Dave Evans and Bob McMurdy of AMPP. Evans is director of QP and coatings credentialing and business development at AMPP and has been with the organization (formerly with NACE International) for more than 34 years. McMurdy runs business development for AMPP and is a past president of The Society for Protective Coatings (SSPC).
