For the first time since the February 2020 event in Long Beach, California, USA, Coatings+ is officially underway in Phoenix, Arizona! While daytime activities such as a robust technical program, workshops, the Exhibit Hall, and a keynote speaker are critical to the experience, evening social activities can also be very important from the perspective of networking opportunities and catching up with industry peers.

With that in mind, hundreds of attendees for the 2021 event kicked off the social component of their week at the Coatings+ Welcome Reception alongside friends, peers, and coworkers. The event, sponsored by Carboline, took place Monday evening at the Sheraton Grand Phoenix’s Valley of the Sun Ballroom.

This year’s theme, “Winter Wonderland,” helped keep guests in the holiday spirit. With a goal of taking the desert heat inside, attendees were able to enjoy a hot chocolate bar, as well as a jazz trio.
