As we are transitioning to hydrogen and hydrogen natural gas blends, considering that these technologies are not yet matured, there is a need to create a TCI that can identify and address challenges with the this industry. This TCI will provide a forum where the broad scope of the technical committees focuses on hydrogen specific issues. The TCI will monitor and asses hydrogen developments that are relevant to the AMPP community. In addition, the TCI will arrange seminars and other forums for industry, government and academic colleagues to participate in including AMPP Corrosion Conference, Corrosion Week and/or Fall Meeting.

What design standards would you recommend for designing a methane pyrolysis reactor?

The reactor contains natural gas which is converted to hydrogen and solid carbon at very high temperature (>700degC). Is there a NACE standard for such a thing? I'm only familiar with NACE MR0175.

Thank you for your response, Mariano. I had not checked outside of NACE. I was having trouble searching the Standards database but did come up with a list eventually.
