Volunteer Profile

Yushu Wang is a Materials and Corrosion Engineer in Shell Global Solutions (US) Inc. He currently works full time in a refinery and chemical plant. He got his Ph.D. degree from Georgia Tech with a research focus of pitting corrosion. He started working in 2015 as a Materials and Corrosion Engineer in Shell Technology Center Houston and since participated in 10+ projects including focused asset integrity review, failure mode and effect analysis, risk based inspection planning, failure analysis, material selection, and corrosion modeling. He has published over 10 corrosion-related research papers in journals and conference proceedings.
